June 2017 Meeting

On June 6th at the monthly meeting we will have Robert give his basic beekeeping presentation followed by a Q&A for the beekeeping group. Also before the regular meeting Charles will be presenting Queen marking in the apiary.

Note, that if you want to join the club. Purchase your membership for 2017 by seeing Andy Matelich at the meeting.

6:00-6:30 Apiary Lessons by Charles
Charles will be in the apiary marking the queens. If you want to mark your own queens come and see how it is done without injuring her.
7:00-7:30 Basic Beekeeping by Robert Clark
Come and listen to Robert explain what to do at this time.
7:30-8:00 Tea Time
8:00-9:00 Q&A on Beekeeping by Club Members
We’ll have a panel answering questions from the club members. This is the best time to talk about what is happening with your bees.

Meetings are 7:00-9:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month at Meadowbrook Interpretive Center (directions to Meadowbrook) and are open to the public.
