On February 6th at the monthly meeting we will have Debra Langley-Boyer give a presentation on a new (to the USA) style of hive, AZ Slovenian Hive. Also Charles S. will be reviewing basic beekeeping for the winter months.

| 7:30-8:30 | Mad Honey Presentation by Debra Langley-Boyer What is an AZ Slovenian Hive? Basically, it is a bee hive that opens like a cupboard from the back. It is usually inside a bee house where you work. The bees come and go from outside. Europe has been using this style of hive for over a hundred years. More people are using the AZ hive in the USA. It is great for all our rain and not lifting. |

Meetings are 7:00-9:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month at Meadowbrook Interpretive Center (directions to Meadowbrook) and are open to the public.
